Der Titel Foiler geht nach Hannover und der der Classics nach Belgien
Bei den A-Cats – schnelle Einhandkatamarane – gab es das Duell um den Titel zwischen Thomas Paasch aus Kopenhagen und dem 30-jährigen Hannoveraner vom Steinhuder Meer, Alex Meister. Nachdem am ersten Tag noch Thomas Paasch in Führung lag, konnte sich Alex Meister durch sechs Siege infolge an die Spitze segeln, die er bis zum Ende nicht mehr abgab und den Titel holte. Thomas Paasch belegte mit nur vier Punkten Abstand den Vizemeistertitel. Dritter wurde Christian Nygaard aus Kopenhagen.

Final day – GER Nats at Wismar:
Alex Meister dominated day 3 also with three bullets and a second and won the German title ahead of Thomas Paasch (DEN) and Christian Nygaard (DEN). Congratulations! Alex on his eXploder and Bryt sail was the fastest boat upwind during day 2 & 3.
Classic ranking was won by Astrid Jannson (BEL) ahead of Thomas Becker! Remarkable performance, both were around with most foilers as it was sometimes hard to foil due to the strong wind, waves and weed…
Great regatta in tough condition.
Over time few dropped out also because of breakage or just stayed safe and warm on shore. Big thank you to the super efficient Race Committee, Guido Schulte and team for the organization and relaxed service.
